The Star of the DayWe blessed our little Sophie Anne on October 10th. It was interesting to not have a ton of family around. With Sydney and Collin's blessings, the circle was almost too big! Fortunately, Grandma and Grandpa were able to come all the way from Washington for the big (or really not so big) event, and Grandma was able to stay for 10 days. It was so much fun! Sophie wore the same dress as Sydney did, which Grandma made with the extra fabric from my wedding dress. She cried through the entire thing, but immediately quit as soon as Dave lifted her up! Too funny. The girl hates to be held lying down. I don't know how Dave kept his focus. Afterward, we came home and made Buttermilk and Gingerbread Waffles (our Sacrament Meeting is at 8:30am!). So Yummy!
Fun, Sorry we couldn't make it but sometime it would be fun to make the little trek to see you guys.
