This was Collin's favorite part of the fair - the tractor exhibit Collin looks like a farmer, right? Sydney pets a goat - she is funny and always scared of actually petting the animals
Dad and Collin chillin in the airplane ride (this ride cost $9 for 3 people - oh, what fun)
Sydney and Brox on the dragon ride
Brox screams like a girl (so does Sydney:)
Sydney and Carson out cruisin'
Having fun in the car ride at the Western Idaho Fair

Our Cheese Heads Collin loves to do everything that Sydney does, so he stole her robe when she went to the bathroom...she wasn't very happy when she got back!
Collin can't leave Daddy's iPod alone, but he'll always say cheese for the camera!
This is Sydney and her friend Brox. They both love to dress up, although Brox was a little embarrassed when his dad came to pick him up and he was still Tinker Bell!
This time, they stole Collin's PJ's for their dress up fun! It was pretty funny!
Well, Dave survived double hernia surgery. It wasn't as nerve wracking as I thought it would be, but I still didn't enjoy it. I guess Dave enjoyed it even less! He's doing well, back at work today, and things are getting back to normal. We liked having him home, but Collin was so frustrated because Dave couldn't throw him around and wrestle like normal. It was so hard to keep him off of Dave. We are thankful that everything went well and that he is recovering fast. Hopefully, he'll be feeling great this weekend when we go to Sun Valley. We are both volunteering for the Wells Fargo Boulder Mountain Tour (it's a cross-country ski race). It should be fun!
Why is it that kids get sick, are better for two days, and then get sick again? I'm so sick of sick! Sydney has caught yet ANOTHER COLD! She has had cold after cold since Halloween, and I'm starting to think she doesn't have an immune system. I guess we're going to have to pay the doctor a visit this week--grrrrrr!
In other health news, Dave is going under the knife on Thursday. He's decided to take care of his two small hernias in his intestines. Nothing too scary, but still no fun at all. I'm really not looking forward to sitting in the waiting room, nervously chewing my nails off. It was much better when I was the one being knocked out and cut open!
We had a great Christmas - Collin loved Santa, they are best buds now. We did have a wonderfully hectic drive to Seattle for Christmas, but made it there in one piece - maybe with just a bit less sanity than when we started. Once there though, we had a lot of good memories...
We built a gingerbread house
Don't worry, all those presents are not ours
Sydney got princess shoes, games and clothes
Collin got dinosaurs, cars, balls and sunglasses. Dave and Kellie were spoiled with several gifts from various sources - from the new digital camera (where these pictures were taken), to Guitar Hero to lots of clothing and DVDs. We had lots of fun with family and enjoyed the immense amount of snow that was on the ground in Seattle. This was Kellie's first White Christmas, so it was lots of fun. Plus Kellie got to talk to her brother on a mission in the Philippines.
